Rev2 is a mid-stage start-up, has no debt, no outside investment, and is fully funding growth through sales. In the past quarter, a new Senior Vice President of Sales and two additional Regional Sales Managers have been added to the team. Additional staffing growth is planned for upcoming quarters. As part of that plan, we are seeking to add technical resources to the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and internal technical team to define deployment objectives, create timelines, gather data, and execute plan
  • Configure RiskView tool per the above
  • Create, edit, and update perl scripts to transform and load customer data into RiskView
  • Create and deploy vmware virtual appliances based on RiskView
  • Assist in general IT/infrastructure support.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience with Perl programming language is required
  • Understanding of and experience with the software environment and software development methodologies
  • Superior comfort with and understanding of the MS environment
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • A “self-teacher,” with ability to research problems and look for/recommend solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness/ability to support the business in customer interactions
  • Consummate team player, with desire to insure overall team success and drive for personal growth.

EDUCATION:

  • Working toward a BS in Engineering or Computer Sciences required, or already achieved a BS.
